Inspired by the sobrefalda of traje de mestiza, this piece is our contemporary version of tapis.
 
This sobrefalda has two panels:
 
One side is made of several designs of Binakol and Kantarines handwoven fabric from Abra.
The other side features the beautiful embroidery normally seen on the kegal nesif blouse of T`boli women.
 
This hand embroidery is done by the Cooperative of Women in Health and Development of Lake Sebu in South Cotabato.
